What is SCORE?
It was at the 52nd IADS Annual Meeting in Egypt when SCORE was established, as a project that will benefit all the members regarding their future careers as dentists and also by linking dental students from all over the world that share the same scientific interests.
The main objectives of SCORE are to promote and develop the scientific part of IADS, mainly through scientific lectures database, scientific articles in the IADS Newsletter, research project opportunities, dental education matters, scientific lecture contest and postgraduate courses database, but also through other series of projects scientifically and educationally related.
SCORE projects
There are several projects under the SCORE theme:
1. International Dental Research Program – provides dental students from all over the world with the unique opportunity to do dental research in a foreign country. The main purpose of the program is to promote the importance of research among dental students from all over the world. Through active participation in a research program, the students will be given the opportunity to develop both skills in applying scientific knowledge to dental practice and an interest in dental research. For the year 2009, we have already closed agreements with the University of Washington, Seattle, USA and the Academic Center of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and many more are yet to come.

2. Post Graduate Courses Database - the aim of this project is to provide our 100,000 members, who are mainly dental students, with a platform of all international opportunities when planning their careers as dentists. At the moment, more than 90 courses across Europe have been collected and uploaded to the SCORE section on the IADS website. International Post Graduate Courses Database:

3. Scientific Lectures Competition – the Scientific Lectures Competition is one of the main aspects of the IADS Annual World Congress. Dental students compete in presenting their research and achievements, proving their hard work and oratory skills but also in gaining international recognition among their peers.
4. Scientific Lectures Database: Students from all over the world share their work and presentations with their fellow colleagues on the IADS website in the SCORE section. Our main purpose is to encourage as many dental professionals as possible to spread their knowledge, so that it would be available for their peers and for worldwide dental students. More to it, the best articles are being published in the IADS Newsletter.

Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of template's capabilities.
Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.Get free downloads for Internet Explorer 7, including recommended updates as they become available.
