Dear fellow IADS members


The International Association of Dental Students (www.iads-web. org) and the FDI World Dental Federation , the worldwide, authoritative and independent voice of the dental profession, are pleased to announce the Second annual World Oral Health Day to be celebrated on Saturday, 12th of September.

The aim of this day is to increase awareness for oral health, as well as, the impact of oral diseases on general health, well-being and national economies.

the IADS members are invited to join us to support the idea around the world in honor of this day through a series of activities.

These activities include but not confined to:


      • Promote the need of improving the awareness of oral health care among students and patients; through a series of lectures /seminars or printed posters and flyers given on that day to university students, workers or school students.

      • Establishing Oral health care programs among the unprivileged populations in their country

      • Developing an inclusive document on the negative consequences of various oral diseases that are to be supported by statistical results from their university
