The Congress Centre in Ohrid, owned by the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, is B-class facility situated on a very attractive location on the coast of the Ohrid Lake near the Lagadin village.
It is located in a lately renewed object that offers optimal conditions to best suit its guests’ needs for accommodation and work. These come mostly from the faculties and institutes – UKIM members, and other interested similar institutions, as well as governmental and non-governmental organizations and other institutions from the country and abroad.
The Congress Centre is being situated within a beautiful park area of 30,000 m2, it owns its own parking area and beach, as well as other facilities that together with conditions for successful work, offer possibilities for comfortable, relaxed and enjoyable stay....
For the purpose of organizing the working parts of the events, conferences, promotions, workshops and other educational, scientific and research, cultural and sports activities and manifestations, the Congress Centre has been provided with two air-conditioned specialized congress halls with minimal capacity of 200 seats each. Both have been equipped with accompanying equipment and accessories indispensable for functioning of a modern congress centre - electronic equipment for making presentations, wireless Internet access spanning the restaurant and its terrace and the beach as well.
The restaurant of the Congress Centre has been organized as a dining area for 170 persons with a spatial terrace facing the lake. The food prepared and served is of the traditional domestic as well as international cuisine. The restaurant area can be easily reorganized as a working facility since it has been supplied with an audio equipment and internet access.
