Advantages
Malta is a modern and safe European country. English is an official language together with Maltese, however Italian is also known. There is always something to do in Malta as it practically never sleeps! Night clubs are open till 4am and the drinking age is that of 17. There are some beautiful picturesque beaches around the Maltese Islands. During your stay in Malta, island hopping is a possibility and can be done at extremely cheap prices. Malta is also a country rich in history, in fact 7000 years of it!
Our Island boasts a brand new general hospital called Mater Dei which opened early 2008 and thus our dental surgery department is brand new and state-of-the art. The whole of the hospital is fully air-conditioned, we use a digital x-ray system over a network, all our dental units have fibre optics and each dental surgery student has his/her own unit as is shown in the photo below.
